| The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction to upgrade the existing sports field and surrounds at Landsborough State School, located at 41 Gympie Street North, Landsborough QLD 4550, as part of the Shovel Ready program.
The sports field upgrade includes two (2No.) multipurpose courts, cricket nets, storage shed, line marking and associated equipment for rugby and soccer as well as other landscaping and improvements. The position of the field is adjacent to the school with vehicle access from Cribb Street, Landsborough QLD 4550. All works are to be completed by December 2021.
Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works.
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1 Million
QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
