| The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of the OSHC refurbishment at Caboolture East State School, located at 44 Manley Street, Caboolture QLD 4510, as part of the School Renewal program.
The OSHC refurbishment includes a new kitchenette and appliances, additional storage space, a new teaching wall and reorientation of the existing amenities as well as enhancements to the existing office, outdoor learning area and seating area. The building is located on the Eastern side of the school with limited working space and site access from Manley Street. All works are to be completed by December 2021.
Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1 Million
QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
