The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the construction of new landscaping to the Heritage entry facade at Kelvin Grove State College, Senior Campus as part of the school direct program.
The works is split into two areas with very limited access and working space. The landscaping works includes new garden beds, sandstone retaining walls, concrete paths and raised timber seating. Works to commence on the 8 November 2021 and be completed by 21 January 2022.
Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1.0 million
QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
