The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a GLA Refurbishment
(Block C) at Mooloolah State School, located at 48 King Road, Mooloolah Valley QLD 4553, as part of the State Infrastructure
Enhancement (SIE) program.
Block C is one level and contains 4 Classrooms, 1 Breakout Space and 2 Storerooms. The Works includes but is not limited to
new Teaching Walls with Hearing Augmentation, Operable Walls, Floor Finishes, Joinery Units with inbuilt Sinks and Additional
Storage Units. The position of the building is towards the front of the school with limited site access and working space. All Works
are to be completed by January 2022.
Tender submissions will be accepted from Contractors that meet the following requirements:
- Appropriate QBCC Builders Licences to undertake the entire Scope of Works
- Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1 Million
QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are
required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
