The University of Queensland's (UQ's) Lakes Precinct is an iconic feature of the St Lucia campus, second only to the Great Court. The natural landscape values of the Lakes Precinct are a key strength of UQ's brand and significantly contribute to the unique experience the St Lucia campus offers to students, staff and the wider community. The Natural Amphitheatre is well utilised, natural open space for events and activities forming a key external collaboration space.
UQ seeks Offers for suitably qualified Design & Construct (D&C) contractors to progress the design and construction works of the UQ Lakes and Natural Amphitheatre.
The core objectives of this project and this ITO are to implement a design that results in the successful recovery of the lake while encompassing an innovative, rejuvenated and activated Lakes Precinct enhancing student, staff, and the wider community experience.
Suppliers, please note the following key dates and times:
10.00am, Tuesday 25 May 2021: Mandatory Site Visit. Suppliers are required to attend the Site Visit in order to submit an Offer. A maximum of two representatives from each Supplier may attend - please email the names of attendees to procurement@uq.edu.au by 12.00pm, Friday 21 May 2021.
5.00pm, Monday 14 June 2021: All questions, requests for information or clarification are to be submitted via the 'Ask a Question' function for this ITO no later than this date and time.
2.00pm, Monday 21June 2021: Offer closing date and time. Your Offer and any supporting documentation must be submitted electronically via QTenders no later than this date and time.
