Provision of Services - Extractive Industries Framework
The Department of Resources is seeking quotes from qualified contractors to investigate known issues with the assessment of extractive industries under relevant legislation, primarily under the Planning Act 2016, and recommend options to resolve these issues, including the consideration of other legislative frameworks.
The contractor’s final report and recommendations will be used to enable the Queensland Government to determine the appropriate next steps to address issues with the assessment of extractive resources developments to ensure an adequate supply of essential quarry materials to support the critical infrastructure needs of the state’s growing population.
