Carbon Emission Boundary & Baseline Reporting
The Department of Agriculture and Fisheries (DAF) recognises the role we play in leading and supporting the Agricultural, Fisheries and Forestry industries to act on climate change, create a low carbon economy and support jobs through investments in low-carbon technologies.
To meet this challenge the Queensland Climate Action Plan 2030 reinforces the Government commitment to move to 50 per cent renewable energy by 2030 and reach zero-net emissions by 2050 (based on 2005 emissions).
As such, DAF is seeking to engage a suitably qualified organisation (Supplier) to expand DAF’s current emissions reporting. The engagement will require the supplier to undertake several activities to enable DAF’s current and future state understanding of our Carbon Emission footprint and deliver a Carbon Neutrality Report.
