Tender Overview

Energy Queensland Limited (EQL) will be seeking proposals for SR22632930 Protection Cubicles via SAP Ariba.

Background and Scope:

Protection cubicles and plates are installed within substation control rooms to house protection, control, metering, communications and SCADA equipment used for the monitoring and operation of substations primary plant.

All relevant documentation (including the proposed Agreement, Scope and Response Schedules) will be available on SAP Ariba from mid May 2024

Tenderers who wish to submit a response need to be registered as a Supplier on SAP Ariba and express their interest in participating.

TO REGISTER YOUR INTEREST

Tenderers who are already registered in Energy Queensland’s realm in SAP Ariba - email the Contact Officer expressing your interest in participating.  The email subject should contain the event title SR22632930 Protection Cubicles

Tenderers who are not registered in Energy Queensland’s realm in SAP Ariba - will be required to register their interest by sending an email to the Contact Officer.

1. The email subject should contain the event title SR22632930 Protection Cubicles and the following information:

  • Business legal entity name (as displayed in the ABN lookup)
  • ABN
  • Registered business street address
  • Contact name
  • Contact phone number
  • Contact email address

Note 1: the Contact person (i.e. the Ariba Administrator) needs to be someone within the business that has authority to provide financial data such as bank account details. Additional contacts/users can be added by this authorised Contact once registration is completed.

Note 2: a generic email address is preferable (e.g. tenders@domain... or admin@domain...) to ensure staff changes do not impact the supplier record and/or receipt of event notifications. Additional contacts/users can be added by the authorised Contact once registration is completed.

ONCE THE EVENT HAS BEEN PUBLISHED

1. Registered Tenderers will receive an email inviting them to access the EQL SAP Ariba realm via a link contained in the email notification. Please note this link will expire within 24 hours.

2. Tenderers must accept the Prerequisite Bidder Agreement under the ‘Review and Accept Prerequisites’ tab to ensure all system generated notifications are received.
This includes, but is not limited to, Content updates and changes to Event Timing.

3. If the Tenderer elects to submit a response, they must do so using SAP Ariba only.
Submissions provided via email or QTenders will not be considered for evaluation.

4. Tenderers are encouraged to read all relevant SAP Ariba documentation located at https://www.energyq.com.au/suppliers.
