The NoQ service will be governed by the Office of the Chief Nursing Officer (OCNO), who will be responsible for implementing the strategy to centralise the management and deployment of locum nurses and midwifes into the rural and remote regions of Queensland, plus the centralised procurement and management of all nursing agency services.
OCNO’s role is to develop and implement policy and strategy in shaping the future of the nursing and midwifery workforce in Queensland.
