Supply and Implementation of SAN Solution for CMC Data Centre
The CMC requires a replacement EVA SAN storage array for an existing EVA6100 SAN storage cabinet in its primary data centre. This is one (1) of two (2) existing units. The CMC SAN infrastructure environment is based on HP branded switches and disk storage units. With investments in the training and expertise of CMC Information Technology (IT) support staff in these components and their related management tools and methodologies, it is not considered desirable to introduce other branded infrastructure at this time.
The CMC is seeking proposals from selected vendors for a complete solution to supply, install, and commission all of the new equipment; migrate data from the old equipment to the new equipment prior to 17 th May 2012; and securely wipe and dispose of the decommissioned equipment prior to 30 th June 2012.
