Supply and Installation of NetBackup Appliances
Currently the department has implemented a Netbackup solution that consists of both a tape based and appliance backups. This solution backs up all corporate data and virtualised machines in the two Whole of Government (WoG) datacentres. The current solution is approaching capacity.
With the purchase of additional Netbackup Products the department will increase the capacity of its backup capability. The implementation will also allow the Netbackup platform to be upgraded to the current revision. The department will take advantage of the new features in this revision to increase performance times of the backup solution.
