Heavy vehicle training and licensing program

The Transition 2012 program is designed to assist in addressing the skills and labour shortage in the transport, logistics and supply chain industry. 
The following are included in the scope of the project: 
-  driver training for a maximum of 400 participants across all three clusters with an anticipated 26 courses to be delivered 
- it is anticipated that approximately 15 participants will attend each course
- it is anticipated each course will take 3-4 weeks to complete.
The Department is seeking to appoint a panel of Registered Training Organisations (RTO) to deliver this training throughout the state of Queensland.
