Mackay Regional Council (MRC) seeks tenders from suitably experienced contractors to construct a new Ø200 trunk water main on the south-eastern side of Nebo Rd. The new pipe is to run from Thorning St north to Shakespeare St. The scope of works also includes the construction of cross connections at many of the side streets to link the new Ø200 pipe with the existing network. In total this project requires the installation of approximately 2.26km of Ø200 DICL trunk water main as well a combination of Ø200, Ø150 and Ø100 cross connections and provisions for residential, commercial and Council service connections.
