The Departmenet has a requirement to provide an improved telecommunication service to a number of schools, education centres and other eligible sites, that are located in isolated areas, and currently rely on the use of high cost commercial satellite services, slow speed wired services such as ISDN or 3G mobile technology.
The purpose of this Invitation to offer is to establish a Standing Offer Arrangement (SOA) with one or more Retail Service Providers for the provision of NBN Interim Satellite Services for eligible sites, including up to 56 state schools and education centres.
