Magnesium Hydroxide Liquid (MHL) is a non toxic chemical injected into the wet well of the Sewer Pump Station to neutralise the acidic nature of waste product. This reduces the corrosive character of waste and also reduces odour. This contract will construct a building to manufacture MHL. Dry product will be delivered to the manufacturing plant by semi truck and the pallets unloaded by fork lift and stored indoors. The finished product is delivered to site by tanker truck requiring access for these two types of trucks at this facility.
The scope of work for this project will be the design and construction of the building to contain the mixing equipment. The concept drawing supplied shows minimum requirements for this building. Scope of work will include fence modifications, design and construction of the building, all plumbing, electrical, sewer, potable water and recycled water connections to and in the building. The installation of the mixing equipment plant is by others.
