The University of Queensland - School of Medicine is inviting offer submissions for the purchase of medical simulation equipment as per below specifications:

PART A

Our requirements include:
• A full body patient simulation mannequin capable of procedures including CPR, defibrillation, cardiac and respiratory monitoring, airway management skills.
• Adult part-task trainer for airway skills enhancement, including intubation, invasive and non-invasive ventilation and airway management. Storage unit to be included if available.
• Adult part-task trainer for care and management of central vascular access devices
• Adult part-task trainer for care and management of peripherally inserted vascular access devices.
• Adult part-task trainer to be used for CPR training only and a part-task trainer for practice with preferred reporting module to show effectiveness of CPR
• Training arm for learning IV cannulation and venepuncture
• Full body birthing mother mannequin with baby capable of multiple birthing procedures, both simple and complex, and maternal deteriorating patient scenarios and associated procedures.
• Adult part-task trainer for teaching and management of simple and complex birthing procedures.
• A full body neonatal simulation mannequin capable of procedures associated with neonatal resuscitation and airway procedures.
• Neonatal part-task training mannequin capable of airway procedures including intubation, invasive and non-invasive ventilation and airway management.

PART B

Our requirements include:
• Hand and wrist for joint injection training
• Elbow for joint injection training
• Shoulder for joint injection training
• Foot and ankle joint for injection training
• Model eye for anatomy training
• Flexible ligamented foot and ankle model for anatomy training
• Flexible full function shoulder for anatomy training
• Flexible elbow for anatomy training
• Flexible ligament hand and wrist for anatomy training
• Flexible full function hip for anatomy training
• Various cervical models for use with existing obstetrics/gynaecology task trainer

• Cost and availability of Spare parts for disposable/replaceable sections of mannequins

• Please ensure notification is made if you are tendering for PART A only, PART B only or combined PART A&B

Interactive simulation mannequins are required to be used within our Simulation Program for teaching purposes to enhance the Education and Training Centre at the Greenslopes Hospital. The mannequins to be used for student training within the University of Queensland medical program and advanced postgraduate training of hospital staff requiring the expertise of professional trained instructors and interactive equipment.
