Coordinator - Torres Strait Islander Languages Recording and Translation Project
The State Library of Queensland has received funding from the Federal Department of Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts for the Torres Strait Islander Languages Translation and Recording Project. This project focuses on the recording and translating into Torres Strait Islander languages a selection of stories from the publication Myths and Legends of the Torres Strait by Margaret Lawrie. Deliverables include workshops with Torres Strait Islander language speakers in select Queensland communities.
Offerors are invited to tender for the provision of professional services for the position of Project Coordinator to deliver the Torres Strait Islander Languages Recording and Translation Project.
