Regrowth Clearing at Spyglass Beef ResearchFacility
Spyglass Beef Research Facility was purchase by the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry on the 1 February 2011. Spyglass is a 38,000 ha cattle research station with the ability to run 4000 head of cattle. The 2000 ha regrowth vegetation that have been identified for removal is situated on freehold land with in the Spyglass boundaries. The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (Eligible Customer) is seeking offers for the provision of Regrowth Vegetation Clearing at Spyglass Beef Research Facility The scope of works is to clear Vegetation Regrowth on an estimated 2000ha at Spyglass Beef Research Facility, 110 km north of Charters Towers on the Gregory Development Road.
