Active Towns Programme Bikeways - Bluewater Quay to Rivert Street
Mackay Regional Council is seeking to undertake the construction of a further section of shared bikeway and footway along the Bluewater Trail in order to provide a continuous loop for recreation and exercise purposes for the general public.
The section of trail in question extends from the Blue water Quay, in River Street slightly east of the Forgan Bridge, to the existing Sandfly Creek trail section adjacent to the River Street boat ramp.
