Provision of Welding Services on Steel Culverts to RoadTek Central Queensland
RoadTek are completing armco pipe restoration located on the Bruce Highway (10D) at chainage 124.27. It is anticipated that the project will take 6 weeks on a 10 on 4 off roster. The works consist of welding reinforcement above the height of the corrosion and reinstate the invert via shotcrete.
Invitation is open to Main Roads Registered Suppliers Only.
The scope of the project is as follows • Be available for start 15th April unless otherwise directed by RoadTek. • Complete all welding works to AS/NZS 1554.1 as per design. • Supply two boiler makers + gear with at least 35m of lead each welder. • Works must be finished by EOFY. • Normal working hours are 6am to 6pm including travel.
It shall be the responsibility of the successful tenderor to supply accommodation + meals etc. Rates required are inclusive of all expenses / allowances.
The successful tenderor shall attend a Project Meeting on site as requested by RoadTek to ensure all aspects of planning have been considered and to develop an understanding of site access.
