Tenders are invited from Contractors for the Refurbishment of the public areas of South Brisbane Station. South Brisbane Station is a Queensland Heritage listed building with a heritage significance rating of 1, and has not received an upgrade since Expo 88. All works contained within this tender are subject to pending approval from Department Environmental Resource Management (DERM).
The scope of the station refurbishment works will incorporate architectural finishes, structural alterations to buildings and awnings, including platform raising, drainage and service installations, electrical installations and alterations, including power and lighting, paint removal and restoration of heritage elements, upgrade of station facilities and signage
