Suitably qualified organisations are invited to submit a proposal for the provision of Insurance Brokerage Services to Queensland Rail.
Key requirements and goals of the tender are to: • Identify a single, highly capable service provider who will provide insurance brokerage related services • Ensure a high quality managed relationship with the service provider that upholds Queensland Rail's values and behaviours. • Reduce total insurance costs by (i) aggregating spend across Queensland Rail to provide greater scale; and (ii) appointing a single service provider who will efficiently manage the facility by sourcing insurance policies (from global markets where appropriate), competitively marketing individual policies to prospective insurers and structuring policies which offer appropriate coverage at the lowest cost.
