The Contract shall include the supply of all plant, equipment, labour and material necessary for the completion of the Works for the dredging of Manly Boat Harbour in accordance with this Specification, Particular and General Conditions of Contract, approval and permit conditions, and the Drawings.
The major items included in the Works are as follows:
1. Establishment of all equipment necessary to carry out the works
2. Capital dredging of material from the current toe width of 30m to a toe-to-toe width of 50m through a 20m extension to the south
3. Maintenance dredging of the existing channel
Dredging of the existing channel is maintenance dredging and the widening of the channel is capital works.
