The Advancing Our Schools Maintenance (AoSM) initiative was announced in the September 2012 State Budget. The objective of this program is to reduce the current maintenance backlog in Queensland State Schools in a rolling program through to 30 June 2014. Various maintenance works include Carpentry and Concreting.

Whitsunday Group H consists of Moranbah East State School, Moranbah State School and Coppabella State School.
