Queensland Rail currently owns a diverse road fleet including a mix of standard and modified
commercial vehicles, light, medium and large trucks, buses and construction plant dispersed
throughout SEQ, regional and central Queensland and the Far North. The fleet comprises of
numerous makes and models as is maintained by the manufacturers and local small
businesses.
Queensland Rail is looking for a business to submit a proposal on how they would manage, in
partnership, the fleet and be responsible for the ongoing performance and condition of the fleet
ensuring its continued safety and reliability, while delivering the best value fleet management
services to Queensland Rail
This Request for Proposal is seeking to identify an appropriate, professional industry expert to
partner with for the delivery of road fleet services while delivering the most cost effective and
responsible management of such a diverse fleet.
