Pacific Motorway Widening - Package 2
The Department of Transport and Main Roads seek the assistance of a suitably qualified consultant to deliver reference designs for the proposed method of widening the existing bridges.
The part of the motorway covered by this brief is for the bridges at Cornwall Street through to Gaza Road, inclusive. The package of works required for this tender is defined by the “Included Structures” section of this brief. Proposed sections are provided at each structure as an attachment in the e-tender directory.
The purpose of the reference designs is to investigate and prove the feasibility of widening each of the structures. The reference designs and associated reports are to summarise the options considered and prove the viability of the selected design by supporting logic and proof calculations. The reference designs will form the basis of the briefing for the detailed design phase.
