The Provision of a Preferred Supplier Arrangement for Network, VoIP and Audio Visual Products and/or Services
CQUniversity seeks to implement a supply agreement/s that will underpin a long-term strategic relationship with supplier/s. These agreements will allow CQUniversity to:
a. streamline procurement processes for Data Networking, Audio Visual, and Unified Communications (including VOIP and Video Conferencing)
b. procure technical and professional capability to enable it to deliver a significant program of works over the next 2 to 3 years (see ‘Program Of Works’ below)
c. procure technical and professional capability to assist with the operational management and support of existing and planned technology and infrastructure
d. ensure that network, video; VOIP and collaboration technology is implemented to a common standardisation of design across all campuses, to ensure compatibility, consistency of experience, and efficient support.
e. rationalisation and consolidation of existing support and maintenance contracts
f. achieve greater value for money by putting into place longer term supply agreements which will allow the selected suppliers to deliver sustained ‘value adds’ to CQUniversity
g. Create strategic relationships between CQUniversity and some key supplier/integration partners, which will provide benefits to CQUniversity in the form of early exposure to technology, investment (by the panel members) in innovation at CQUniversity and economies of scale when applying technology to the entire organisation.
