The University of Queensland’s (UQ) School of Medicine is seeking offers for the provision, delivery and installation of an Analyser to provide digital detection and counting of large sets of molecules from a single sample to quantify specific genes. Specifically to provide high through-put RNA and microRNA expression on challenging samples (paraffin embedded tissues, serum plasma and peripheral blood cells), to provide single molecule imaging to detect and count hundreds of unique transcripts in a single reaction. The Analyser it to be fully automated, easy to use system to fit on a bench top, yet permits multiplexing of up to 800 regions from as little as 300ng of DNA in a minimum time frame (2-3 days).
