The University of Queensland require a Cryogenic Probe Station for novel material development and for frontier nanotechnologies such as organic solar cells, transistors, quantum devices, superconductivity, light emitting diodes, light emitting transistors, photodiodes and nano-electrics. A number of research staff and students across the physics, chemistry and COPE will have access to the facility. The establishment of the facility will significantly advance the development of new frontier materials and devices whilst supporting new training for graduate students and post-doctoral staff.
