The Queensland All-Codes Racing Industry Board trading as Racing Queensland (RQ) is the control body under the Racing Act 2002 (Qld) which is responsible for the management of the following codes of racing in Queensland: thoroughbred racing, greyhound racing and harness racing.RQ coordinates, manages and regulates the racing industry through a number of distinct functions, ranging from the administration of the Rules of Racing through to research and promotional activities. RQ has around 400 staff working throughout Queensland.
There is now a requirement for RQ to upgrade the greyhound track at Albion Park.
