Provision of Host specificity testing of prickly acacia rust fungus
The Contractor will be required to produce a comprehensive written report outlining the experimental methods and results after conducting preliminary host range specificity testing of a rust fungus collected from India, as a biological control agent for prickly acacia, a Weed of National Significance in Australia.
The Contractor will be required to conduct studies on the infection biology of the rust and a preliminary assessment of its host specificity against 15 Acacia species native to Australia.
