Provision of Specialist Field Maintenance Services at the Townsville Sport and Recreation Precinct
The objective is to identify and contract a suitable contractor who can deliver the following:
provide specialist field maintenance services required to prepare the sporting fields for different sports including Rugby League/Union, Athletics, Football and Touch Football;
maintain the sporting fields, surrounds and lawns to the standard expected of state and national level venues;
demonstrate certified experience in the knowledge and application of pesticides and herbicides; and
be accustomed to working around the existing international standard athletics track, using suitable equipment without causing any damage to the facility.
