The Housing and Employment Program is designed to provide time-limited private rental assistance and personalised support for Eligible Clients while they participate in Eligible Training Courses.
The objectives of the Housing and Employment Program are to:
assist people in housing need, including those on the Housing Register to improve their economic circumstances and longer term private housing options
provide a pathway from social housing into affordable private rental housing through training or employment opportunities
improve the connections between available assistance for affordable housing and assistance with training/employment
The Queensland Government, Department of Housing and Public Works is calling for Invitations to Offer to use funds from the Department to deliver specialist advice and information to deliver time-limited private rental assistance and personalised support for Eligible Clients while they participate in Eligible Training Courses.
