As further information has become available, concepts, plans and strategies outlined in the Phase 1 report are to be reviewed and refined to reflect the latest GC2018 planning, demand assumptions and policy and investment decisions for passenger transport.
This revised Passenger Transport Operational Concept Phase 2 (PTOC2) is to be finalised by 31 December 2014, with an initial deliverableof preferred Park and Ride sites within 6 weeks of the project’s inception.
PTOC2 will include all Brisbane and Gold Coast venues, and consider the implications of additional live sites in both locations.
In principle there will be no private parking at or close to venues. It is anticipated that spectators and workforce will access venues either via passenger transport or walking and cycling.
