The Department of Education, Training and Employment (the Department) is committed to developing infrastructure and maintaining the condition and useability of Queensland Government state owned educational facilities. Project Managers play a key role within the successful delivery of these refurbishments, extensions and capital works projects and the Department places significant importance on these projects being delivered within specified time frames, budgets, quality parameters and the facility’s specific requirements.
In response to this demand, the Department is seeking offers from organisations with suitably experienced and qualified Project Managers to establish a panel of Project Managers under a Standing Offer Arrangement that can steer the delivery of the Department’s maintenance and capital works projects within specified time frames, budgets, quality parameters and the facility’s specific requirements to drive the delivery of the Department’s programs while complying with departmental standards. The Department is additionally eager to maximise cost efficiencies derived from the arrangement through the performance of Project Managers to ensure that program funds are used as effectively and efficiently as possible to achieve value for money.
The initial term of the arrangement will be thirty-six (36) months with an option to extend the arrangement for an additional two (2) twelve (12) month periods that can be exercised at the discretion of the Department.
