| Unitywater invites offers for the installation of valves at two separate locations on the L1 sewerage rising main system. The description of work required at each location is described as:
1000mm Valves in chamber at Kawana STP
Work here requires the removal of an existing temporary pipe section in the operating pipeline and installing DN1000 Knife gate and Non return valves in place.
600mm Valve in pit at Barny Moy Road, Britinya
Work here requires cutting into the operating DN600 pipeline within the pit and installing a sluice valve inline and fittings to connect into two existing cross connection valves.
Also required is to excavate, design and connect the cross connection from the 375mm rising main of SPS-KAW100 to the 600mm main.
