The sewerage system servicing the north eastern coastal strip of Redcliffe was constructed in the late 1950’s and consists of five pump stations (SPS-RED002, SPS-RED003, SPS-RED004, SPS-RED005 and SPS-RED007) that share a rising main which conveys sewage approximately 7.8km to Redcliffe Sewage Treatment Plant. SPS-RED007 was recently upgraded by Unitywater.
Unitywater now requires upgrades of the remaining four pump stations in addition to the upgrade of sewer rising main at SPS-RED005 and the installation of emergency storage tanks at SPS-RED003.
This project consists of two Separable Portions as follows.
