Melbourne to Brisbane Inland Rail Options Analysis Project: Issues Identification and Alignment Refinement of the ARTC Inland Rail Alignment between Toowoomba and the NSW Border
The specific objectives of this project are:
Undertake analysis and planning work to document, assess and provide advice to the Queensland Government on issues related to the MBIR alignment between Toowoomba and the NSW border.
Identify, assess and provide advice on opportunities for alignment modifications or alternative options to avoid issues, minimise costs, improve performance, maximise benefits and to take advantage of opportunities to better integrate with the existing transport system and spatial economic development.
Propose alignment refinements as well as other mitigation measures to address issues.
Provide advice on costs and relevant non-cost performance measures as well as staging options for future development.
Provide graphical information and documentation to assist in the future consultation task.
