The pace and breadth of new policies and programs in pursuit of school improvement in Queensland are substantial.
The Customer seeks external expertise to provide services as a ‘critical friend’, in particular to optimise the positive impact of current policies and programs (and their interaction) aimed at school improvement in Queensland state schools, and to ensure consistent implementation and focus.
The Contractor will collect data and undertake analysis at the school, region and system level, in order to advise/facilitate/co-design iterative adjustments to programs and/or their implementation, and identify gaps, duplication or illogicality, to ensure service effectiveness and promote seamless lifelong learning. Some of this work has already been done, the results of which will be provided to the Contractor.
Over a two-year engagement, it is anticipated that the Contractor would work collaboratively with school staff and other departmental staff in order to build capacity, promote co-design and ensure that the work is well grounded.
