England Creek Causeway on D'Aguilar National Park
The heavy rainfall and strong winds associated with Tropical Cyclone Oswald in January 2013 resulted in erosional damage and water under cutting and subsequent failure of the concrete causeway on England Creek due to high volumes of fast flowing water. Repairs to the causeway are considered essential as this asset forms a critical part of the D'Aguilar National Park: strategic fire and emergency response access track network, walking track and horse trail network and access to remote sections to perform park maintenance.
