The role of Supported Accommodation Facilities is to assist people who have struggled with homelessness to build the skills they need to achieve housing stability and independence, by providing:
a pathway to exit homelessness
safe, affordable housing integrated with individual tailored support
a safe, empowering environment for vulnerable people
a vehicle for government, business and the community sectors to work together in ending homelessness.
The Queensland Government, Department of Housing and Public Works is calling for Invitations to Offer (ITO) from shortlisted not-for-profit organisations to develop an innovative and value for money service delivery model for the provision of Tenancy and Property Management and a Support Service provider for services for the Supported Accommodation facility.
