Supply of Internet Protocol (IP) Telephony System to The Sunshine Coast Institute of TAFE
The Sunshine Coast Institute of TAFE (SCIT) has identified a business need to provide staff, students and visitors to the Institute with enhanced telecommunications facilities to support the program delivery, administrative functions and commercial business operations at all of its centres. A hardware / software combination of IP-based digital telecommunications infrastructure and unified communications applications is considered the most appropriate way to achieve this requirement in the long term. This project, for the installation and maintenance of the core IP telephony system, is the first of a number of interrelated projects planned over the next two years to implement a range of interactive technologies for the Institute.
