This purchase is for Eastern Australia Waterbird Aerial Survey data collected in 2014/15 and upcoming data for 2015/16 and 2016/17. All of the data collected will also include associated reports for 2014-2015, 2015-2016, and 2016-2017. The data will be added to the corporate database WildNet and used in summary reports on Wetlandlnfo. The data will be used for many purposes including assessing the ecological values of wetlands in the Lake Eyre and Murray Darling Basins, reporting on the ecological character of the Currawinya Lakes Ramsar site and as an input to assessing major development and infrastructure projects, as well mining, coal seam gas and water management activities.
