Griffith University engages a photography company to provide a graduation photography service at each graduation ceremony. This includes on-stage photography of graduation presentations, studio style individual and family portraits before and after ceremonies, group photos and VIP photography (e.g. photographs of guest speakers, members of the official party, honorary doctorate recipients). In addition, the University official photographer provides all after ceremony sales or photographs and packages throughout the year, and offers sittings to students who do not attend ceremonies.
At each ceremony, the contractor will be expected to:
Photograph each graduate during the ceremony as they receive their award / photograph each guest speaker and student speaker as they make their address. The prime location should be selected at each venue to ensure a clear and well composed shot of each graduate receiving their award / each guest and student speaker making their address.
Provide studio portraits for graduates and their families at the venue, prior to, and after the ceremony.
