The Queensland Government on behalf of the Department of National Parks, Sport and Racing is seeking Proposals for the provision of supply and construction of a new workbase shed and wash down bay at Cardwell, North Qld.
The Contractor is to submit plans and certification to Local Council for building approval. Completed construction is to be certified by a structural engineer and meet standards set by Building Code of Australia.
The objective of the purchase is to provide a secure and suitable work shed and wash down bay for efficient and effective running of the Cardwell work unit, and improve security of the work area. It will involve the employ of builders with the necessary skills set to follow and construct according to requirements of Local Council and to standards set by Building Code of Australia. The work shed shall be 30m x 12m x minimum 4.8m high eaves with a 6m X 12m open wash bay area on northern end. The type of shed required would be equivalent to a prefabricated shed.
A site visit is mandatory.
