Offerors are invited by the Department of Justice and Attorney-General (DJAG) for the provision of Enterprise Grade Firewall Hardware, Software and Associated Services. Queensland Corrective Services (QCS), a division of DJAG is currently investigating new networking security solutions, namely replacement of the current Firewalls. Presently, QCS have an inner pair and an outer pair of Cisco 5540s. QCS is exploring new solutions of next generation firewalls to provide higher levels of network security, to further increase visibility, and to condense and optimise current security policies.The potential solution manufacturers that have been shortlisted for further analysis are Palo Alto Networks and Check Point Software Technologies Ltd.
