Queensland Biosecurity Review
The new Government is keen to honour an election commitment by commissioning an independent, thorough and considered review which enables the Queensland biosecurity system to position itself as setting national and world best practice.
Biosecurity Queensland (BQ) has been pursuing new ways of doing business including developing new legislation and information systems, and sees this review as an opportunity to build on this work to take the next steps forward.
The Deparment of Agriculture and Fisheries would like to engage a consultant to chair the panel and lead the review process.
