| The Department of Natural Resouces and Mines is seeking an experienced contractor for the Provision of a report on Advanced Understanding of Structural and Geochemical Controls on Mineralisation in the eastern Mt Isa Inlier Using Innovative Techniques for Exploration.
The project is part of the Queensland Government’s Industry Priority Initiative.
The three-year Future Resources program of the Queensland Government, announced in June 2013, includes the critical Industry Priorities Initiative. The Initiative provides the Geological Survey of Queensland (GSQ) with total funding of $7.5 million over three years to implement priority geoscience projects identified by the resources industry in Queensland.
The Mt Isa Block remains Queensland’s premier metal producing district, containing several deposits with world-class resources and production statistics.
