Provision of Biosecurity Awareness and Incident Response Training Module Development

Foot-and-Mouth Disease (FMD) is considered to pose the greatest emergency animal disease (EAD) threat to Australia’s agricultural industries. The Biosecurity Preparedness Program (FMD)[1] intends to provide training on FMD awareness and biosecurity incident response operations to a wide range of learner groups made up of people who may work within a future response. The training content and materials must be suitable for use in a number of contexts (pre-incident training and just in time training) and for learners located in a wide range of locations across Queensland, including some with limited internet access/bandwidth. Quotes for innovative, cost-effective solutions for the development and provision of such training are sought.

[1] Following the recent change of state government in Queensland, the Foot-and-Mouth Disease Preparedness Program (FMDPP) has been renamed to the BPP(FMD).
