Port of Townsville Infrastructure Layout and Land Allocations
The Queensland Government is seeking Proposals for the provision of services for the Port of Townsville Infrastructure Layout and Land Allocations. It includes undertaking an infrastructure layout and land allocation planning activity within the jurisdictions of the Port of Townsville. .
Depending on requirements these goods / services specifically include:
1. Undertaking conceptual analysis of:
current layouts of road, rail, pipeline/conveyors and critical marine-side infrastructure at the port;
layout alternatives (to be developed by the consultant) (including preliminary cost/benefit analysis and draft costings etc);
integration and efficiency with current and future land allocations;
external connections with supply chains including off-port intermodal options; and
supporting services and infrastructure capacities including power, communications, water and sewerage supply etc.
2. In parallel, and in line with leading practice, the project will also critically include desktop analysis/consideration of:
environmental values (and benefits / costs) associated with layout options and alternatives.
